Reduce White Point doesn't solve the problem, but helps reduce brightness while leaving the phone at a higher brightness to reduce the modulation depth. This also results in color and contrast changes. Apple is still one of the worst offenders for flicker sensitive people.
I was not taking about the old reduce white point setting. I'm talking about the new setting that specifically disables PWM. It may require a new phone or new ios but it exists.
The setting is called "display pulse smoothing" (the description says it WILL disable PWM) and is available in iOS 26, not sure about earlier versions.
