I'd like to do it in the next couple years, but the logistics have intimidated me. I've hiked the JMT twice, and doing it again this year. I'm not really even sure where to start with doing something like the PCT.

Best resource I can recommend is Yogi's PCT Handbook. She also has a guide to the CDT (Continental Divide Trail) and the Colorado Trail.

Yogi's books are really two-in-one, a planning guide and an on-trail guide.
